Having decided to sell or purchase a home, you have another very important decision to make- finding a qualified and experienced REALTOR®.  If you have successfully teamed with an agent in the past who did a great job for you, then by all means work with the REALTOR® again.  On the other hand, if you're looking for an agent, how do you know if he or she is qualified?  One excellent way to find someone who has the qualifications is to check out their certifications.  Some can be obtained in a one or two day seminar.  Others require a serious commitment over several years.  The CRS (Certified Residential Speicialist) is unique in that in addition to required classes, you have to prove that you have had a number of transactions and are a REALTOR® in good standing.  Needless to say, you'll want to interview the agent too.  Send us an e-mail if you have any questions.
